To request an increase or a decrease of your credit limit, download and complete the form:

Customers who are registered for NAB Internet Banking can also request to have their credit limit increased online. Simply login to NAB Internet Banking and select 'CREDIT CARD LIMIT INCREASE' from the 'APPLY NOW' menu.

 Add or remove a cardholder

Important things to note:

  • The additional cardholder must be 16 years of age or older.
  • The primary cardholder is responsible for all transactions (including transactions on linked accounts) conducted with the additional card.
  • If the additional cardholder is not a NAB customer, government regulation require that NAB obtains from them sufficient proof of identity before the additional card can be provided (eg: passport, birth certificate, driver's license, Medicare Card, etc.)
  • Allow up to 10 working days for NAB to process your request.

You can request to remove an additional cardholder by calling 13 22 65, 8am - 8pm EST, Monday to Friday. Platinum Cardholders please call 1300 730 213, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 Make repayments to your card
At NAB, we've made it easy and convenient to make your repayments. You can:
  • Transfer funds from linked NAB accounts using NAB Internet Banking,1 through NAB Telephone Banking1 on 13 22 65, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or at a NAB ATM.2 Platinum Cardholders please call 1300 730 213, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Use BPAY® from a participating bank, credit union or building society using biller code 56192 for American Express cards or 1008 for other NAB credit cards3. The customer reference number is your complete credit card number.
  • Use the direct mail envelope included in your monthly NAB credit card statement.
  • Visit your nearest branch and pay in person.
  • Pay at one of over 3100 Australia Post outlets displaying the Bank@PostTM sign.2 4

 Direct debit authority

 Pay bills
Paying bills from your credit card is simple and flexible.
  • Many of your regular supplier bills such as power, gas or telephone can be paid with your NAB credit card. Contact your supplier for more information.
  • Make one-off payments using BPAY5 on NAB Internet Banking1 or through Telephone Banking .1

 Report an unauthorised or unknown transaction

If you are unsure about a  purchase transaction on your credit card account, you can download and complete the form: credit card purchases disputed transaction advice (PDF, 261kb)

When you submit this form, a Production of Transaction Evidence Fee of $5 per item may apply where it is found that you, or an authorised party, approved the transaction. To dispute an ATM or EFTPOS transaction, or any transaction from your NAB Ant American Express Card or Velocity NAB American Express Card, please call 13 22 65, 8am -8pm EST Monday to Friday.

The standard size companion card issued with NAB Visa Mini Card account should be used in these devices.
  3. ® Registered to BPAY Pty Ltd ABN 69 079 137 518. BPAY is an account transaction. Please refer to your financial institution for applicable fees, and terms and conditions.
  4. You cannot make payments to NAB American Express Cards at Australia Post outlets.
  5. You cannot make payments to third parties using the BPAY network using a NAB American Express Card.
